In the process of manufacturing this system, the following were utilised- specialists/engineers from a wide variety of areas such as electrical engineering, optics, measurement technology, lighting technology, standardization, construction and production. Furthermore, during the journey, the makers were accompanied in an advisory capacity by a publicly appointed and sworn expert for the field of apparatus cosmetics.

What can FREE SOLO do?

On-off switch

By pressing the rotary encoder, the lamp and the positioning LEDs are switched on and the work light can be dimmed.

The device saves the last set brightness of the work light when it is switched off.

The device is switched off automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Red LEDs for alignment

The red LEDs of the positioning optics are provided for the correct alignment of the UV field.

UV light source

The light from a UV LED is optimally projected onto the work area using a special optic. The light is shielded upwards and downwards by a screen so that no areas of the skin are unnecessarily irradiated.

A microcontroller ensures that the exposure does not last longer than 3 seconds, but the radiation can be stopped prematurely at any time.

Dimmable work lamp

Care was taken to ensure that a colour that is pleasant to the eyes is used. Here we opted for yellow lighting. White LEDs were not used because they have a high proportion of blue light.

The positioning optics help to set the specified working distance.

Delivery

All products are sent from ourselves and not a third party, using our authorised courier/ postal service . We check all orders before despatch to ensure your order arrives as specified and in perfect condition.

Returns

You have 14 days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a refund your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging. You should notify us of your intent to return an item and provide your Order Number reference.

If unwanted item returns arrive in poor or unsaleable condition, a refund will not be possible. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the items in question are returned to us. We will not be liable for returns that are lost in the post or lost for any other reason.

If you receive a faulty or damaged item, we will advise how to return it to us and we will refund the return postage cost. Replacements and / or refunds will only be dispatched / issued on receipt of the returned items.

Refunds

Refunds will only be processed up to 14 days from the sales invoice date. Refunds will be processed within 7 days of product arriving back with us. Payment will be made the same way the product was paid for (PayPal, Bank Transfer or Card payment). No refunds will be issued after 30 days of the sale invoice date.
